What and Why

Uncensored is a dialogue forum designed to take conversation below the surface of political correctness in an environment that encourages both confidentiality and genuine understanding. It has been a staple at ABM for many years because the conversations in this setting translate into better business meetings.

During our facilitated dialogue forums, the group tackles real issues and helps unpack the sensitive topics and challenges that have been imposed by colonialism.

The facilitated content includes historical facts that set the groundwork for the development of understanding. We provide information to foster real conversations, creating a deeper understanding of the legacy of colonialism and Indigenous peoples. This knowledge supports personal growth and the creation of a business environment that is positive, inclusive, and respectful, resulting in better relationships, internally and externally.

The facilitators will be Benda Baptiste, ITBC, and Katrin Harry, ABM

ABM Uncensored at ABM Canada is an express version of our Uncensored Dialogue Retreats in Tla’amin Territory, Lund, BC.

Our weekend dialogue retreats are an impactful way to make space and time to solidify thoughts in the context of friendship, formulate critical opinions based on true insight, and to become better human beings and leaders.

We encourage all members of the ABM Business Community to participate at least once.
