ABM Without Borders are intensive online connector events designed to accelerate business, especially in times of social distancing.
Facilitated by ABM’s custom software, they offer ten curated 20-minute online appointments over the course of four hours.
These pre-scheduled business development appointments are a forward-looking and efficient way to engage one-on-one with key decision makers otherwise not accessible. With national and international reach, ABM Without Borders catapults members into a diverse environment of ideas, shared knowledge and opportunities.
Each ABM Without Borders is curated according to a specific focus, from opportunities in reclamation to land use planning to marketing services. These focuses are determined by members of the ABM Network that come to the table with specific interests and priorities, which we then use to curate an event. Contact us if you do not see what you are looking for!
While these events are scheduled for a specific date, they are much more flexible than the ABM Classics and, because of how focused they are, our curation process is even more intensive. This means that depending on who registers, and what factors allow everyone to operate at the top of their game, these dates are re-negotiated among the participants to achieve maximum results. We are in close contact with all of our actively business matching ABM Members and once you are registered, you become part of a dynamic and focused group of key decision makers with aligning business interests. You are productively engaged throughout the entire preparation and business development process and we work with you to ensure you move your goals forward.
Land Use Planning, Real Estate, Land Development – Tuesday, January 26, 2021 – 9 am to 1 pm PDT
Back by popular demand! This is the second time we are focusing on this topic area. The first one on September 3, 2020 was attended by Cathy Lawrence, Land Development Manager with Terra Developments Inc. who said:
“The event today was amazing! I can already see some opportunities brewing, and to be able to connect with people that I never organically would have is awesome! The members were all so accommodating, and even if we were not a ‘match’ they were offering mentorship and ideas of who would be better suited. So collaborative and forward thinking, it was refreshing!”
Companies will find First Nations ready to develop their real estate assets. Some of these land rich communities are just at the beginning of their development planning. Others know what they want to build.
The key decision makers in attendance are looking for:
- services and products that help to assess and maximize land value
- expertise to develop project plans, especially those experienced working with ISC
- architectural and engineering firms
- manufactured building solutions
- green technologies
- development partners for on- and off-reserve commercial and residential projects including community infrastructure, a marina and a residential neighborhood
- supporting products and services such as legal, insurance, accounting, marketing, landscaping etc.
Indigenous communities can find expertise and potential partners but also peers with best practices to share. We ask their decision makers to be as specific as possible when communicating their requirements so we can find complementing and vetted companies.
Contact Katrin Harry, Managing Partner with ABM, at 604-483-6421 or email@example.com to discuss if attending can help you move your business goals forward.
