ABM Without Borders are intensive online connector events designed to accelerate business, especially in times of social distancing.
Facilitated by ABM’s custom software, they offer ten curated 20-minute online appointments over the course of four hours.
These pre-scheduled business development appointments are a forward-looking and efficient way to engage one-on-one with key decision makers otherwise not accessible. With national and international reach, ABM Without Borders catapults members into a diverse environment of ideas, shared knowledge and opportunities.
Each ABM Without Borders is curated according to a specific focus, from opportunities in reclamation to land use planning to marketing services. These focuses are determined by members of the ABM Network that come to the table with specific interests and priorities, which we then use to curate an event. Contact us if you do not see what you are looking for!
While these events are scheduled for a specific date, they are much more flexible than the ABM Classics and, because of how focused they are, our curation process is even more intensive. This means that depending on who registers, and what factors allow everyone to operate at the top of their game, these dates are re-negotiated among the participants to achieve maximum results. We are in close contact with all of our actively business matching ABM Members and once you are registered, you become part of a dynamic and focused group of key decision makers with aligning business interests. You are productively engaged throughout the entire preparation and business development process and we work with you to ensure you move your goals forward.
Collaborations and Partnerships in Tourism – Tuesday, January 18, 2022 – 9 am to 1 pm PST – in partnership with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Ontario
Tourism is one of the sectors hit hardest by the impact of COVID-19. This event will focus on collaborations and partnerships to prepare recovery but also to strengthen the sector right now. Conversations will include anything from efforts on domestic market opportunities to the short-term re-purposing of tourism assets for other industries.
From Kevin Eshkawkogan with the Indigenous Tourism Association of Ontario:
“With the global situation making it so difficult to generate revenues, Indigenous businesses must support each other now more than ever before. It is for this reason that Indigenous Tourism Ontario is leading the Collaborations and Partnerships in Tourism ABM Without Borders event.
We’re very excited to be working with the Advanced Business Match. Not many profit-oriented companies make a point of fusing Indigenous and non-Indigenous ways of doing business, so when one of them also happens to be the most effective business-matching event in North America, it’s hard to lose.
ITO is confident that collaboration among our members, and reaching out to the wider ABM Network, is the best avenue for us, and all those in positions similar to ours, to survive the pandemic and become even more resilient in the future. When we move forward hand in hand, we foster the partnerships needed to rejuvenate the Indigenous tourism industry in Ontario and across the country.”
Our partner in this event is the Indigenous Tourism Association of Ontario and we encourage you to read their CONTINUING OUR JOURNEY – Strategic and & COVID-19 Recovery Plan 2020 to 2025.
