La Fromagerie Champêtre Inc. is a cheese maker established in the province of Quebec, specialized in the production of cheddar cheese curds (made especially for poutine), commodity cheeses (such as canadian swiss) and speciality cheeses such as the award winners washed rinds: Le Bocké and Le Presqu’ile. The company also processes a full line of shreds, slices and cubes available in a variety of cheeses. Own by the Saguenay Lac-St-Jean Cooperative Nutrinor, La Fromagerie Champetre works closely with Fromagerie Perron, also a brand of Nutrinor. Fromagerie Perron specializes in aged cheddars from medium to 4 years old cheddars and offers a complete retail line.
